About Us
The mission of Westside Education Partners is to increase the sustainability for school leaders.
Tara Gallagher Abello has spent a decade working towards education equity in Chicago Public Schools. She redesigned, led, and launched the strategic planning process for Chicago Public Schools after leading a school on the West side. She began her educational career teaching bilingual students in rural Illinois, and later was a founding teacher leader for an AUSL turnaround school.

Tara holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from Western Illinois University, a M.A in Differentiated Instruction from Concordia University, and a M.A. in School Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
