Chicago Public Schools has a 2023 goal of making sure every CPS school has a Behavioral Health Team in place to ensure our students are receiving the supports they need. Herzl has already met that goal! The Herzl Behavioral Health Team and Westside Education Partners are now focused on tailoring interventions to their students' needs and monitoring their progress.

Ms.Tara Abello is a phenomenal coach. She has helped made me into the leader that I am today.  She was able to identify my personal glows and grows as a leader and assist me with the planning and facilitation of professional developments for my school community.  While collaborating with Mrs. Abello to improve the Climate and Culture of my school, she taught me how to collect data that we need to inform and drive our work. I appreciate her passion for building staff members from within the school to lead. Ms. Abello's determination to improve systems is contagious.
